The Utah Jazz have decided to hire former Bulls rival player Dennis Rodman as their next head coach, according to a league source with knowledge of the team’s intentions. Rodman beat out John Stockton and Karl Malone; both men were interviewed Thursday morning by Jazz officials.
Rodman’s success in getting National Championship Rings was a key factor in the Jazz’s decision making, according to the source. Rodman has five championship rings (Two with the Pistons (1989, 1990) and three with the Bulls (1996, 1997, 1998).
Rodman, who had has no previous coaching experience and has seemed constantly in jeopardy of losing every job he’s had since then. Strong rumors that the Jazz wanted to hire him in January have been amplified since the Jazz have recently went on an unexpected losing streak.
Sloan was expected to be fired after the season amid reports of run-ins with team captain, Deron Williams, including a physical confrontation between the two in January. The incident occurred after Sloan had exceeded a doctor-recommended minutes limit for Deron Williams, the teams starting point guard, who was recovering from a wrist injury. After Williams played 41 minutes against the Denver Nuggest Februaru 4th, Williams confronted Sloan in the coach’s office, shoved him in the back and gave him a wedgie. Williams ultimately apologized for the incident.
It’s believed Rodman has an “inspiring effect” with the Jazz which would only require the former NBA champion to be paid less than $2 million the first year of his Jazz contract.

You see, behind the vendors and rides and animal judging lurks a dark underbelly. There is a man running a foul and evil enterprise on the fair grounds and if you keep a keen eye, you can see it for yourself.

I was oblivious to this fact for the first hour that we were there. Then I followed some shifty eyed men to an unmarked building and was surprised to find this.

Sheep Executioner

That’s right. A sheep executioner. This horrible creature has the job of killing any sheep or goats that refuse to allow themselves to be ogled and fondled and petted by the endless mob of humans that line up at the fair’s gates.

Yes, there were more than one. This enterprise is so huge that I saw no less than ten of the filthy beasts in this side area that most people would never even walk by. The one in the next photo is the worst.

That’s right, dear readers. This is the Supreme Champion sheep executioner in Idaho. They say that it has killed over a thousand of its fellow sheep and that it drinks nothing but blood and goat’s milk.

The only way for the animals on display at the fair to guarantee that they don’t face these awful beasts, is to win a ribbon. But even sometimes those that do can be forced to endure endless tortures. The sheep pictured below has had a bowling ball tied to its tender parts. There it will hang until the sheep relents and allows itself to be dragged back into the spotlight.

There are also a whole breed of goats that are bred for one purpose and one purpose alone. The fights.

Many people from the east are not aware of this, but goat fights are the cock fights of the northwest. Farmers train their goats in gladiatorial combat throughout the year in the hopes that their malicious animal can win a top prize at the state fair’s seedy underground arena, where the prize money is fantastic.

The man behind this madness takes home quite a pretty penny from the gambling that goes on with these fights. I found proof of this business behind the large barn at the edge of the fair. See the photo below.

The place of slaughter

While perusing the midway, I also noticed that one of the rides had a sign reading that it was shut down. Yet the workers were still letting people in if their palms were slickened enough with cash. In this house of horrors ride, the entrants are allowed to watch as hooded men and the dreaded sheep executioners slaughter and torture the helpless animals on display at the fair that don’t win a ribbon.

These slaughtered animals are then turned into the burgers, foot-long corn dogs, smoked turkey legs, lamb kabobs, deep-fried goat heads, cow brain omlettes, mutton tacos, horse entrails stew, and deep-fried rocky mountain oysters on-a-stick that are sold by the food vendors scattered throughout the fair grounds.

Here is a picture of two horrified children that just came out of that disgusting slaughter house. They haven’t spoken for days since.

I then asked around and after some research found the repulsive man behind the whole underground fair operation. Mr. Eduardo Benifico Sanchez. A more disturbed individual you will never meet, let me tell you now.

I was able to interview the man briefly. He gave me his evil Cheshire Cat grin and denied everything. But I refused to stop there. Below is a picture of a sign I found taped to the window of Mr. Sanchez’s office at the fair grounds.

Disgusting, I know. It seems that Mr. Sanchez’s operation runs into more than just animal mistreatment.

More questions revealed that Mr. Sanchez’s operation travels with much of the rides and equipment to states all around the country.

I immediately reported the man to the local authorities. They assure me that the will be looked into. Then I walked out of the building and saw Mr. Sanchez entering the rear of the police station from a black limousine. The Sheriff greeted him at the door with a laugh and a shake of his cash-filled hand and I realized that the man will not be easily brought to justice.

I leave this up to you, dear reader, spread the word. This man will be at YOUR state fair next.

Update 9/8 It gets worse. At the Minnesota State Fair Mr Sanchez has a live canine genitalia removal exhibit.

Imagine this:

You are invited to a friends house. They are all excited and want you to watch a video they made. So you act enthusiastic and they put this on:

You watch in horror, trying not to laugh and feeling embarassed for them. Then they tell you about their aspirations of stardom and you try to be positive while the whole time you are screaming inside, wishing you could escape.

An hour later after you have found an excuse to slip away, you leave the driveway just as more of their puzzled looking victims are arriving at the house.

Well Jan Terri and Mark Gormley have produced some of the most embarrassed friends and acquaintances ever. They evidently have quite a cult following despite the horribleness of the videos.

Let’s start with our buddy Mark Gormley. He is actually on very talented SOB. Musically his songs are quite good. Unfortunately the dude looks like my old junior high english teacher Mr. Ferguson. He should not appear in his own music videos.

Now to Mark’s credit, he is pretty grounded for a internet sensation. in this interview, you can see that he isn’t looking to jump into fame. He even turned down Jimmy Kimmel. He is however looking for a new “signifigant other”. So ladies . . .

Barney's longtime grudge with Team Teletubbies was finally vindicated

Moments later as their theme song began to play, Tinky Winky and his crew, Dipsy, LaaLaa and Po entered the building, sprinting to the ring and with pyrotechnics blazing, climb each turnbuckle and spew colored liquid out of their mouths and onto the crowd below. Soon TW took the microphone and replied with sarcasm, “Uh oh – the Dinosaurs are gonna get boo-boos!”
Quickly Tinky Winky sprints towards Barney, springboards off Laalaa’s back and delivers a flying cross-body attack to the unsuspecting Dinosaur.
Seemingly undeterred, Barney throws TW off his oversized, anthropomorphic body and into the corner ropes followed by a powerful three-point-stance clothesline. Next, the sneaky Baby Bop reaches over the ropes and chokes TW with her “Blanket of Death” that draws a series of boos from the audience.
After Baby Bop released TW at the demands of the referee, Barney grabs the obviously stunned Tinky Winky from the corner, wallops him again with a series of standing head-buts, and as if in one motion, follows with a double-mule-kick knocking Tinky Winky over the ropes.

Fortunately for the former world champion, just as Barney was about to cannonball dive off the turnbuckle to a completely knocked out Tinky Winky laying helplessly outside the ring, LaaLaa jumped in, stunning Barney with a big punch to the groin, then pulling off a devastating top-rope Frankensteiner to bring Barney wildly to the mat.
Of course, LaaLaa began her famous victory “ride-em cowboy” dance, causing BJ and Riff to jump into the ring, each with a folding chair in hand. BJ quickly smashes the distracted LaaLaa in the face, and then together, BJ and Riff pick up the yellow party-girl and double-power-bomb her onto an un-folded chair, knocking her out and breaking her big curly antenna completely off.
Dipsey, seeing his friends in such a predicament, jumps in the ring, grabs the celebrating BJ and Riff by the back of their necks and smacks their heads together causing them to drop to the mat. Picking up BJ by his large Protoceratops head, Dipsey whips him into the opposite corner turnbuckle followed by a complex aerial display ending in a spinning-bulldog DDT leaving BJ knocked out and face first on the mat.
Determined to demonstrate the extreme hatred felt for Barney and his friends, Po had crept into the ring to sabotage the main event by smacking Riff in the face with Barney’s intercontinental belt, simultaneously handing Barney a win by disqualification and an apparent chance at WWE Champion Snufflupagus at Survivor Series.
After the bell, the staggering purple dinosaur lumbered into the crowd, smashing a mysterious-looking Big Bird over the head with double fists, only to be carried away by a struggling arena security. Afterward, Big Bird delivered the warning: “There WILL be BLOOD to pay!” We’ll see if Barney’s as big a dinosaur as he thinks when these two meet next week.

In the past you have seen me rail against the evils of Televangelism.

Well, today I have been doing some research and Brothers and Sisters you won’t believe what I have dug up.

Across our great nation, many of us use our church signs as bilboards to either promote our values, advertise community events, or touch the hearts of the people driving by. However some churches are getting out of control. Either their pastors are loopy or the person in charge of their signage needs to be reigned in. These messages range from politically charged to stupid to flat out dangerous. This is the kind of thing that makes people think religious people are crazy.

That sign out front is often the first thing that people see from our churches. The message there will forever color the public opinion of our church’s beliefs.

Now I have seperated these photos into several categories:

#1 Stupid

Lame Church Sign

I’m not quite sure what message this sign is meant to convey. Maybe this is a joke being played on a heavy pastor. Either way it is innapropriate.

After examining this one more closely I think that this may be a church that was purchased by an institution that is running a business out of it. At least they should take the religious signage out of the corner.

#2 Political

In our current political climate, it may be tempting for a pastor to use his pulpit as a place to put forth his political views. However we need to remember that our political views are not neccesarily God’s will. It is innapropriate to put that kind of message out. It is also a quick way to get your tax exempt status removed.

Not only is this sign highly innapropriate, it is also offensive. It is not our place to judge a woman. Besides, where is the proof?

I have seen signs with similar messages popping up all over the country. Not only is it rediculous, but also quite frightening. Even if Barack Obama did heal my friend’s gimpy leg.

Again, this is is a statement I have not seen proof of. I mean, I have heard of this, but there is no photo evidence. But if any of you do find any let me know.

Finally I will end this catagory with an amazing example of a church that let politics drive it completely off the deep end.

The River City Church Of GOD

They start off with a statement just as rediculous as the one posted earlier.

Now they are making themselves look silly.

At first I just thought “What an obvious statement.” But what were they really saying? Were they intimating that he is still a virgin even now? But then it may just have been a gramatical error because the next day the sign had changed again.

It was at this point that I noticed the change in the name of their church. It just creeps me out now.

#3 Dangerous

These last signs were truly shocking to me. I really think that some congregations need to bring their pastors under control. Either someone is truly nuts or a prankster has gotten hold of the signage lettering.

These kinds of messages cound erupt a community into violence or perhaps bring church leaders up on criminal charges.

This may seem funny on the surface. But this kind of intolerance will not bring the type of people into your congregation that you want. Mormons may not fight you but the Lutherans could set fire to your church house.

Even if you think this statement is true, you are just asking for a community in uproar and that is not the way to convert souls.

(And also, a quick thank you to Mrs Edge for pointing out that the word Wiener was misspelled. Perhaps the sign was referring to Mr. Hermann Weiner who was beaten to death by a gang of homosexuals in that same city the week prior.)

I really think that this might be the work of a prankster. But if so, someone should have taken the message down right away. This one stayed on the board for over a week.

At first I thought that this pastor was just against that rock band from the 80′s. But my wife tells me she thinks that it is a statement of homosexual intolerance. . . . I don’t get it.

A few days after this sign was put up, this pastor had cops knocking on his door. There are more discreet ways of getting this particular message out.

At least this pastor has been reading my site.

So as you can see we need to get the message out. We need to get our signage under control. If you see something questionable on the sign outside your church, see your pastor. Perhaps you could volunteer to help him come up with more appropriate messages.

An Israeli couple going on a European vacation...forgot their Miley Cyrus scrapbook at the airport

JERUSALEM – An Israeli couple going on a European vacation remembered to take their duty-free purchases and their 18 suitcases, but forgot their Miley Cyrus scrapbook at the airport, police said Monday.
The couple and their five children were late for a charter flight to Paris Sunday and made a mad dash to the gate. In the confusion, their scrapbook got lost.
Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said a policeman found her scrapbook in the duty-free area at Ben-Gurion airport, Israel’s bustling main international air portal. He said the officer alerted airline staff, but the flight had already taken off.

Rosenfeld said the owners were unaware they had boarded the aircraft with only a muffled voice recording of the teenage superstar instead of their entire scrapbook containing newspaper and magazine clippings.

The incident happened on what Israeli media said was one of the busiest days of the year at the Israeli airport, with thousands of people leaving for summer vacations abroad. The Haaretz newspaper reported that 2.6 million passengers are expected to pass through the airport in July and August, an increase of 12 percent compared to the same period last year.
Israeli media said the owners of the forgotten scrapbook were an ultra-Orthodox Jewish couple but did not give their names.

The seven women with low amounts of gas were more likely to be minorities and to have received fewer years of education. They were also five years younger, on average, than those in the high gas category – 24 versus 29 years, according to the report.
All the babies were delivered vaginally, and none of the women had been given drugs known to make newborns gassier, the researchers said.

"Infants born to mothers with considerable amounts of gas have sleep characteristics of a more mature central nervous system compared with the infants of mothers with poorer gas levels."

Using a motion-sensing pad to measure breathing and movement during sleep cycles, the researchers found babies of women in the low-gas group had less advanced sleeping patterns than the other more gaseous mothers’ infants. They had a greater ratio of “more active” to “peaceful” sleep, spent more time transitioning between sleeping and waking, and spent less time fully awake than those of women with higher gas levels.
“As an infant matures, normally you would see the infant spending more time passing gas,” Lammentin-Koeler said. “Infants born to mothers with considerable amounts of gas have sleep characteristics of a more mature central nervous system compared with the infants of mothers with poorer gas levels.”

Kennedy Medical Research Institute and a child development expert, said the findings seemed to echo the importance of passing gas for optimal infant growth, although he noted that many other factors, from volume at delivery, vibratory velocity, vapor content, and methane enrichment, can influence a newborn’s ability to rationalize complex equations, factor dynamic polynomials, and/or decipher multifarious conventions.
Researchers have seen a definite correlation between performance of the anus when egressing methane and motor developmental tests at 9 months of age. However, both Lammentin-Koeler and Rutabaga said there is no way to predict whether a child with less mature sleeping habits in the first week of life will be anything other than less gassy.
“We have to be flexible in our definition of development however,” McInerny Rutabaga said. “With the child who doesn’t fart too well at two months of age, it may be related to the reduced intake of gassy foods, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that there’s going to be a problem with that child. Just remember to give him a heaping helping of processed broccoli and let him rip”

Who is better for the environment, Batman or Daredevil?

A woman got the shock of her life when she found an 8-inch man mixed in with clothes in her washing machine.

After Mrs. Rodger took her blue jeans out of the machine Wednesday, she reached back into the load and felt something move.

“I jumped back and all of sudden this little man in tiny scuba gear starts climbing out of the washing machine, it really freaked me out!” Rodger told WMTW-TV.

Mrs. Rodger quickly closed the lid and called the local police, but they didn’t want anything to do with the little man, they suggested she call midget control.

Once out of the machine, the angry little man wrapped himself around Burgess’s finger, in a choke hold cutting off the blood flow. That’s where Julie Leonardo, a midget rehabilitator who works at the National Midget Foundation, identified the small man as George Thumb, great, great grandson of Thomas Thumb (the famous miniature man mentioned in the Guiness Book of World Records. Miniature men typically prey on small rodents, fish and large insects, but are not man killers, she said.

Leonardo and Gotham’s Midget Control officer planned to find the angry man a home at a little person’s refuge.

But how the man ended up in the washing machine remains a mystery—he talks just too high to understand what he’s saying.  Burgess guessed he was searching for lost wedding rings in the water pipes and that he somehow made a wrong turn and couldn’t find his way back.  Somehow he ended up in the washing machine and probably got there during the rinse cycle, she said.

In the meantime, Mrs. Rodger said she’s a little paranoid of little people now.

“Now that he’s gone, I’m going to be checking crevices and corners,” She said. “I’m going to be looking in the tub first — before and after, maybe even during, the rinse cycle.”
